Discount Stacking:  Special Pricing, Discounts & Gift Certificate

It is our goal to give our customers the advantage of using the special pricing we offer from time to time, in conjunction with any and all discounts and gift certificates they may be entitled to.  The purpose of this blog is to provide an understanding of the stacking order that will be applied to reach the total price before the addition of sales tax.   

1.  We pay all the costs of preparing your order, on a priority basis and have it shipped to you ground. You will not see the cost of ground shipping and priority processing because these are included in our pricing.  You can expect to take delivery of these items, on average, during a two week window.  Any other exceptions; will be discussed with you before we put your order into processing.    

2.  #1 in the stack:  The discounts on specially priced items.  You will see the regular price and the special price will be added to the cart.   

3.  #2 in the stack:  Second tier discounts on specially priced items that are dependent on purchases of other items or cart totals.  

4.  #3 in the stack:  The 10% discount that all newsletter subscribers have on current and future purchases.

5.  The cart is totaled and if there is sales tax due, it will be added.  

6.  Gift cards and certificates are used to reduce the amount due and payment will be taken for the balance.  If there is credit left on the gift cards and certificates after the balance is reduced to zero, a record will be made and it will be used for the next purchase.
