Welcome to Sharon Lykins Art. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe how you may use my website, www.sharonlykinsart.com, and purchase art from me. By visiting or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. General Information

This website is operated by Sharon Lykins Art, based in San Angelo, Texas, USA. Throughout the site, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sharon Lykins Art.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted here, and your continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Use of Our Site

You may use this site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:

  • Use the site for fraudulent or harmful purposes
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site’s operation
  • Copy or reproduce any artwork, images, or content without permission

All artwork, images, and written content on this site are protected by copyright and belong to Sharon Lykins*. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without written consent.

  1. Purchases and Payments

When you make a purchase through our store:

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
  • Payment is processed securely through WooCommerce, PayPal, or Venmo. We do not store your payment information.

Once your payment is confirmed, we’ll prepare your artwork for shipment.

  1. Shipping and Delivery

We carefully monitor the progress of orders in our system. Unless we tell you otherwise or there is an incident beyond our control, you should have your item no later than two weeks from the date your order is placed. (What incident beyond our control? (carrier strikes, lost or damaged merchandise during shipping.)

We are not responsible………………..; however, we take the responsibility of arranging for a priority replacement as soon as it becomes obvious the carrier has lost (or unreasonably delayed) your package. When I arrange for a priority replacement, I will give you definite instructions on how to handle the delinquent delivery of your artwork. Please remain closely in touch while we resolve this issue.

  1. Returns and Refunds

If your artwork arrives damaged or there’s a mistake with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sharon@sharonlykinsart.com so we can arrange for a priority exchange.

We cannot replace or issue a refund at our expense when artwork is damaged while in your possession. We will work with you to resolve any other issue to your satisfaction (as detailed in the FAQ. Although you are allowed eight days to contact me by email for any reason, including those which call for a priority exchange, it is imperative that you contact me within 48 hours of receiving the merchandise so that I can provide the services needed to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Your situation merits the use of my consulting services at no charge to you.

  1. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, text, and artwork displayed on this site are the intellectual property of Sharon Lykins* dba Sharon Lykins Art, a sole proprietorship, subject to the attribution to Julie Loomer stated below.


They may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed in any form without written permission.

  1. Third-Party Services

We use third-party tools and services (like WooCommerce, PayPal, Venmo, and Google Analytics) to operate our store and analyze site traffic.
These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before using their services.

  1. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to keep this site accurate, secure, and reliable — but we can’t guarantee that it will always be free from errors or interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharon Lykins Art is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of our products.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Texas.

*The underlying image in the Bird of Paradise Collections is attributable to the traditional artwork created by Ms. Juliana Loomer, who lives in Norway.  Julie retained her rights as the owner and creator of her gorgeous traditional Bird of Paradise artwork, which she continues to sell in her own name.  On August 11, 2024, Ms. Loomer sold a commercial and personal license to Sharon Lykins.  Under this license, Sharon has the right to use the specific artwork created by Ms. Loomer in (Sharon’s) works of art.
